AC Milan’s takeover from Sino-Europe should be completely shortly. When it is Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez will be on the summer shopping list.

Reports in the Sunday Express have claimed Milan have joined the list of clubs interested in acquiring Sanchez should he fail to commit his future to Arsenal.

It has been claimed Sanchez is holding out for £250,000 a week at Arsenal but the Premier League side aren’t willing to match this, which might mean – with the forward heading into his the final 12 months of his current deal – the Chile international could leave the Emirates Stadium?

A three year contract – with Milan ready to bid £45m for him – will be offered to the Chilean. But if Sanchez were to leave Arsenal the Rossoneri will have to compete with the likes of Serie A rivals Juventus and European rivals Paris Saint Germain and Atletico Madrid for starters.

Milan should – if Sino-Europe can offer up the money they claim they will – be able to compete financially with clubs in question but the 28 year old will definitely want a club playing Champions League football that can also compete for the top honours.
